Genuine Girling racing brake caliper handbrake levers, listed for both Girlings NR and ORA brake calipers. These high quality zinc plated or passivated, pressed steel levers and fitted in pairs on each brake caliper and allow pivotal pressure to be applied via the handbrake cable.
The levers ensure the brake pads are directly pressed into contact with the disc face, ensuring conformity with road regulations for a mechanically operated handbrake mechanism, with 2 levers required per caliper. They may not produce enough pressure to be wholly relied on whilst racing, with hydraulic handbrakes usually employed.
