Cool-It Turbo insulating kits from Thermo-Tec, designed to protect, improve performance and help eliminate turbocharger lag, by containing the heat produced within the turbo and increasing turbine speed. This kit is universal and fits a wide variety of turbines.
The custom cut-to-fit kit comes with an excessive amount of material to cover turbos from the smallest automotive application to heavy-duty truck applications. Two turbo kits are available - one for 4 cylinder engines and a second for vehicles with a 6 or 8 cylinder engine.
Each kit contains a roll of exhaust insulating wrap 1" x 50' or 2" x 50', 1 yard of aluminized heat barrier and a 3" X 6" piece of exhaust insulating wrap. Hardware and instructions are included.
