WOSP Performance, LMS476-11-1.2 high output, lightweight gear reduction starter motor. These high performance starter motors have been engineered for use in hostile or bespoke environments and are warranted for 12 months. In most cases they offer twice the power, half the current draw and half the weight of the original unit. Unless specifically intended for just one application all WOSP starters can be rotated 360° on their own axis giving the unit an infinite number of mounting positions to clear any obstructions. Ideal for specialist conversion and motorsport builds.

The WOSP LMS476-11-1.2 starter motor suits the following vehicles / engines: Ford Capri Mk3 2.8 '81-'87, Ford Granada Mk2 2.8 and 2.8i '77-'85, Ford Scorpio 4X4 2.9i, Ford Sierra XR4i 2.8i '82-'87, Ford Taunus V4 '62-'81, Matra 530 (Ford V4), Reliant Scimitar GTE / GTC 2.8i '80-on, Saab 95 / 96 / 97 1.5L V4 '68-'80 and TVR Tasmin '80-on.
This WOSP unit is based on a 1.2kW Denso OSGR *r starter motor which has been modified to suit these particular applications, for performance, race and rally car use.
